We at Banaras Hindu University collaborated with National Association for Voluntary Initiative and Co-operation (NAVIC), for popularisation of agricultural technologies among the farming communities of different districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh namely Varanasi, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Azamgarh and Mau. Among the technologies popularised vermicompost production, enrichment of vermicompost with agriculturally important microbes, homemade production of botanical pesticides, extraction of neem oil and their utilization for organic agriculture. We appreciate the hard work of organisation and the team. I congratulate Dr VK Singh, Secretary, NAVIC, for his dedication to society. I wish him grand success in future endeavour.
