Environmentalist Speak

By organising basic questions of water, forest, land and livelihood, NAVIC has given a new direction to intellectuals. These are questions related not only to humans, but also to the very existence of living beings. There should be brain storming on these and their practical solutions should be presented. I wish this tradition expands to the entire nation.

By organising workshop on water, forest, land and livelihood, NAVIC has attracted attention of the society on a burning problem. Lives of all living beings hinges upon their security. Our consumerist culture has posed a grave danger for them. For this public would have to be made aware in the villages and localities of cities. For solving the problem, these resources need to be used judiciously, alternatives would have to be found for industries and crops and cultivation of trees would have to be promoted. I hope that NAVIC will continuously make progress in this direction.
